கலைஞரை பற்றி பெருந்ததலைவர் காமராசர்

Posted by Saipradeep on May 29, 2013

Srilanka – The land lost to War

Posted by Saipradeep on June 18, 2011

Two sects of people, two languages, one land, thousands of weaponry, many brutal wars, millions of lives. This is what Srilanka was for the past 25 years.

Well, let me break it down even further. To me, the entire case boils down as a War of Languages. Oh no, I am not trying to degrade anything here. Neither am I trying to belittle the sacrifices made by the millions. But yet, I can think of it as nothing but the War of Languages…

How else can you define it? One sect oppressing another just because they speak a language different from theirs, and the suppressed sect in turn retaliated. Hell breaks loose… result… rapes, murders and massacres. Trace it back 25 years and it all gets down to this fact. Someone spoke a different language… War of Languages…

I still do not understand how a tool for communication became a cause of massive destruction. I started questioning myself… Isn’t language just a tool for communication? Can I not survive if I don’t have the ability to speak, read or write a language or for a matter of fact any language on the face of earth. Is  it so precious that lives of fellow human beings cannot be valued against it? Is it that important?… and then it dawned upon me… it was not just a War of Languages… It was a War of Egos. Few egos had to be fed in at both ends and so millions were sacrificed in the altar. A few egos… just a few… and millions had to lose their lives. Along with it 25 precious years gone.

A generation has been lost. A generation that has not seen peace. A generation that does not know what is peace. A generation that knows nothing but fear. Born in trenches, lived in bunkers, died in shallow graves.

War brings nothing but misery. It brings Nothing. well it brings loss… loss of loved ones, loss of dear ones. Moms lost their children. Fathers their sleep. Children were orphaned. Elders left helpless. Everyone lost someone. The survivors are left with nothing but scars. Everyone has a scar, in their body as well as their hearts. The dead would be forgotten by everyone but their loved ones. They will live just itched in the memories. Memories of the faces that were lost. Nothing else to remember. Nothing else to relate.

I too feel the loss…When I think of Srilanka… I can feel nothing but pain and loss.  Just to let you know…  I have never been to Srilanka, I have never been in the war field, I never saw the dead but yet I feel I have lost somethings… Many things…

Let me say this one more time…

Two sects of people, two languages, one land, thousands of weaponry, many brutal wars, millions of lives. This is what Srilanka was for the past 25 years. Well… am I right in saying “was”? Only time can answer that question…

Indian POLITICAL League, the New “IPL”

Posted by Saipradeep on June 15, 2011

Oh No… please don’t think that I am talking about the cricket IPL. This article is in no way connected to that arena. I am writing about a completely different ball game, the one where there are many teams and many key players. A game that has no rules. Teams can combine together to bring down another team in one season. The same teams can become rivals and partner other teams in the next season. Key players can jump teams change their role and do what ever they want. They may become the best player or the worst dud. There are no holds to bar. You need no qualifications. well probably just one… you need to know to count (for the money and the bars as well). Yes, I m talking about the Indian POLITICAL league… the new “IPL” which seems to outbid and outrun everything.

On one side we have “families” that have looted a state possibly the country too for decades, on another side parties and “Kalmadis” who seem to milk every paisa possible from every possible venue and on the third side are sanyasis and Gandhians whom seem to go on fast for anything and everything. In the center of this “Bermuda triangle” is our “Aam aadhmi” unable to decide if he has to vote for a free tv or a free laptop or free rice bags. Poor being… in his plight for survival, his choices are restricted to the gifts he receives rather than the so-called leaders themselves. And yes there is a fourth side too… the Press who seem to worry more on circulations and TRP rather than the actual issue itself.

India is a land of diversity… Poverty and suicides at one end, black money and swiss accounts at the other end, This is possibly the only country which faces such extreme challenges. Jails and police stations have become guest houses and rest houses. The newly renovated Taj stands no chance in front of “Tihar” for the portfolio of the ones who are stationed here for the past few weeks is so rich and versatile…

Where are we headed?
What is the reason?
Why is this happening?
How is going to be different?

Few of the many questions that may never be answered…

Change is the only inevitable thing in Nature… but would this change bring anything new?

A year has gone by… A new one has come by

Posted by Saipradeep on December 30, 2010

A year has gone by…

It has been a fantastic year. A year filled with incredible components of Love, fun, action, changes, sorrow, joy, experiments and many more. The best of all is that 2010 has been a positive year.

Positive in many ways and many may not agree. Moved out a good pay, comfort zone career into a lesser pay, experimentative one. Moved out a low-cost home into a high cost duplex. Moved from a Wagon R to Figo. Moved from my navigator shirts to Muti brands. Moved from low-cost kadim shoes to Lee Cooper. Movements throughout the year. Challenging yet positive moves for better life and lifestyle. Sitting back and thinking about the ride this year, I can only smile and say “WoW, thank you Lord”.

Looking forward for 2011. We had tagged last year as the year of Health, Wealth and happiness. 2011 is the year of “Pipes and Lines”. Pipes for our income sources and Lines are the relationships. This year, we are sure would bring in joy and success for all and take us to the next level of our Dreams!!!

Cheers to all and a Happy New Year!!!

Aayirathil Oruvan – Movie Review

Posted by Saipradeep on January 27, 2010

This is one of the best movies I have watched in recent times and I was completely impressed by the way Director Selvaraghavan had come up with the entire movie. Yes, the movie has its own flaws. and Yes, you can draw similarities to a few Hollywood movies. But, can there ever be a flawless movie? It is quite difficult to find a movie that is unique in its identity. Directors around the world will be inspired by blockbuster movies and screenplays. Mirroring inspirations is not a crime. My Destiny!!!

Posted by Saipradeep on January 27, 2010

What would you say when your prayers get answered and you see the way that can give you all that you have longed for all these years…

What would you say when the secrets you had longed for all these years were revealed and you start seeing the path to your future…

I said “YES”

All I said was a “Yes…”

This single word opened up the gates of opportunity and today, I am well on my way to achieve my dreams, my goals, and my deepest desires.

I am following my heart’s calling.

Along with me, I will also be helping hundreds and thousands of aspiring people to achieve their dreams.

Success will be sweeter than ever when it is built along with happiness, goodwill and true friendships.

Today, I have realized that this is my life’s calling. I am destined to be here, I am destined to grow here, I am destined to SUCCEED here.

This is my Life’s Destination!!!

Review of “Discover the Diamond in You” by Arindam Chaudhuri

Posted by Saipradeep on January 23, 2010

This book review was written by my wife Sudha, her first venture in the world of review writting… “All the best wifey”!!!

The Review:

We have heard of the “2120” concept… At 2110 F, water is still said to be boiling water, however at 2120 F it converts into steam and has enough power to run even big ships. Just that one degree increase has given water that potential and power.

Is this not what happens to most of us? Some of us do so much of hard work but are rarely recognized. But there a few who do very little but are tagged with all praises.  These are the Smart workers of the world as we hard workers have to learn to become the Smart workers!!! Let me stay clear, I am not saying that smart workers are not hardworkers but just that they have learnt the art of ensuring that their work gets noticed.

There are so many times that we have run so much in life to get something but drop the effort unable to bear the grind. The heat and pain gets on to us forcing us off track and off the battle field.  The winners in life are not people who are dreamt long, but the ones who were able to hold onto that dream long enough. The winners are people who had it in them to walk that one extra mile to achieve their goals.  Winners are the ones who moved from 211 to 212. This is the secret that “Arindam Chaudhuri” writes in his book “Discover the Diamond in You”. Read the rest of this entry »

Back Atlast!

Posted by Saipradeep on August 10, 2009

After a long break, I am back into writing. Well for no apparent reason, my blogging went to a standstill. I too did not do a lot of introspection for the reason, until recently when my wife as to why I had QUIT blogging… It was then did I sit back and think. Did I quit blogging? The obvious answer was No. Then why? It is then I realized that my cycle of interest runs that way. When I pick up a new toy, it goes on pretty fast until I discover something newer. I keep the old toy away and start with the new one until something else replaces that. But this is no toy that I had dropped. It was a part of my life, a place where I could share all that I felt about me, my life. A place where I could share what I felt about the people I come across and how they impacted me. This was ME… How could I have abandoned me? and so I am back again into the blogging circuit…

I am promising myself that I would write at least twice a week. Topics no bar, contents no bar… it would all about things as I see t hem. My perspectives and my perceptions!!!

I am glad that I am taking this decision for I am sure that this would be yet another jolly ride in my Life…
